5-Year MD Pathway

  • The 5-year MD pathway is designed for students entering after high school, providing a structured progression from foundational sciences to clinical training.
  • The program begins with a Pre-Med phase of approximately 16–18 months, where students build a strong base in subjects such as biology, chemistry, and basic medical sciences while developing the academic discipline required for medical education.
  • Following this, students transition into the MD program, where learning progresses from basic sciences with clinical correlation to clinical rotations in hospital settings across major specialties.
  • This pathway ensures that students move steadily from foundational understanding to hands-on patient care, developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence required for medical practice.
