Commonwealth University follows a clear and transparent process for eligible refunds. Students and applicants are advised to review the applicable admission, tuition, accommodation, withdrawal, and payment terms before making any payment.
Refund eligibility will depend on the nature of the payment, the student’s admission or enrollment status, the date on which the refund request is submitted, and the applicable University policy. Certain payments, including application fees, registration fees, administrative charges, processing fees, and other specified non-refundable charges, may not be eligible for refund.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the authorized University office with the student’s full name, application or student identification number, payment receipt, transaction reference, reason for the request, and any required supporting documents. Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval. Each request will be reviewed according to the applicable University policy.
Approved refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method wherever possible. The processing time may vary depending on internal verification, banking procedures, card networks, international transfers, and payment gateway timelines. Bank charges, payment gateway charges, currency conversion differences, and other third-party fees may be deducted or may remain non-refundable.
Refund amounts may be adjusted for any outstanding dues, services already provided, academic or administrative costs incurred, accommodation usage, penalties, or other applicable charges. Duplicate or failed-payment claims will be verified against payment gateway and bank records before action is taken. Commonwealth University is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment processors, international transfer systems, incorrect account details, or other third-party service providers. The University’s approved refund decision will be communicated through the authorized office.
